President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Saudi Arabia on March 26. He announced this by releasing a corresponding video and added that important meetings with local and international representatives are planned during the visit.

Purpose of the Visit and Support from Partners
During his stay in Saudi Arabia, Zelensky emphasized the value of support from partners and Ukraine’s readiness to cooperate to ensure security in the region. Details of this visit, which were not announced in advance, are currently not being disclosed.

Ukrainian Assistance to Middle Eastern Countries
At the beginning of March, Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine is ready to help Middle Eastern countries defend themselves against Iranian attacks, particularly by utilizing expertise in countering Iranian Shahed drones. At that time, the president reported that 201 Ukrainian specialists are already working in the Middle East and Persian Gulf, with another 34 experts ready to join local teams. It was noted that Ukrainian specialists are also working in Saudi Arabia.
It is worth mentioning that in March of last year, Zelensky also visited Saudi Arabia. During that visit, negotiations took place in the city of Jeddah between officials from Ukraine, Saudi Arabia, and the United States, highlighting the importance of cooperation on security and regional stability issues.
