Forecasters have released an updated weather forecast for Kyiv and the surrounding region for Monday, May 5. According to their data, a significant drop in temperature is expected along with the possibility of rain and thunderstorms.

According to specialists from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, it will be cloudy in Kyiv and nearby areas with some clearings. Short-term rain is expected over most of the territory, and isolated thunderstorms may occur during the day. The wind will blow from the northwest at a speed of 5-10 m/s.
Temperature regime and meteorological conditions
Forecasts indicate that at night, the temperature in the region will range from 7-12° Celsius, while during the day it will rise to 11-16° above zero. In Kyiv, nighttime temperatures are expected to be 9-11°, and during the day — +14-16°. By morning, the air temperature in the capital has warmed up to +12° with a relative humidity of 75% and an atmospheric pressure of 741 mm of mercury.
