Checking Shelters and Ensuring Residents’ Safety

The head of the Holosiivskyi District Administration, Sofia Dunaievska, was the first among her colleagues to take on the inspection of the condition of shelters in the area. This issue is one of the most pressing for Kyiv residents, as the quality of protective structures directly affects safety during air alerts. A similar focus has been chosen by the head of the Shevchenkivskyi District Administration, Oleksandr Sazanovych, who not only inspects shelters but also oversees the construction of a new shelter at the Universum Lyceum.

Heorhii Zantaria, the head of the Sviatoshynskyi District Administration, has also started activities related to inspecting shelters and checking construction sites in the district. Oleksandr Kovtunov, who leads the Darnytskyi District Administration, has made the inspection of shelters in his area one of his first tasks.

Recovery After Attacks and Infrastructure Development

The head of the Solomianskyi District Administration, Serhii Movenko, has focused his efforts on addressing the consequences of Russian attacks. He regularly informs the public about his work on his Facebook page. Andrii Paladii, who heads the Dniprovskyi District Administration, has initiated checks on the pace of recovery for residential buildings damaged by Russian shelling.

Volodymyr Nakonechnyi, the head of the Podilskyi District Administration, has paid special attention to historical and tourist sites in the area since the first days of his tenure. Among the sites he has inspected are Andriyivskyi Descent and the territory of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.

Maxym Bakhmatov, who became the head of the Desnianskyi District Administration, personally checks the level of inclusivity in the urban environment from a wheelchair, addresses chaotic parking issues raised by residents, and removes illegal kiosks based on residents’ complaints. He documents all these actions on video, promoting transparency and accountability in the administration’s work.

“The head of the Holosiivskyi District Administration, Sofia Dunaievska, immediately took on one of the most sensitive issues that Kyiv officials are not particularly fond of: she started inspections of the district’s shelters.”

The new leaders are demonstrating activity in matters of safety, recovery, and infrastructure development, which are crucial for the residents of the capital under current conditions.
