The capital’s court has decided to impose a fine of 170,000 hryvnias on a woman who organized the operation of an illegal casino in the Desnyanskyi district of Kyiv. This decision was the result of an investigation conducted by law enforcement agencies into illegal activities in the gambling sector.

As established by the investigation, the accused set up gambling establishments in rented premises with the aim of generating income, where gambling and online lotteries were conducted without legal licenses or permits. Her activities were aimed at making a profit by organizing illegal gambling business.
The court found the woman guilty of organizing illegal gambling. In addition to the fine, she is prohibited from engaging in activities related to the organization and conduct of gambling for one year.
Confiscation of Property and Further Restrictions
As part of the pre-trial investigation, computer equipment and funds were seized, which the court ordered to be confiscated for the benefit of the state.
