Works by Ukrainian Masters of Painting and Graphics to Be Auctioned

The tenth anniversary charity auction “Kyiv Art Vernissage” will take place in Kyiv, marking an important event for fans of Ukrainian art and collectors. The pre-auction exhibition will run from May 5 to May 7 and will showcase over 100 lots featuring works by prominent 19th-century artists.

Exhibition and Auction Lots

Works by masters such as Kharlampiy Kostandiy, Petro Levchenko, Oleksiy Markov, and Oleksandr Stiliyanudi will be available for sale. Special attention will be drawn to graphics, including etchings and lithographs by Gustave Doré, Taras Shevchenko, and other figures. The collection will also include works by Ukrainian masters of painting, such as Serhiy Shyshko, Viktor Shatalin, Yosyp Bokshai, Yanos Erdeli, Viktor Sevastyanov, Mykola Hlushchenko, Stepan Uryk, Matviy Kogan-Shats, Vera Dovhalevskaya, and others.

Purpose of the Event and Contemporary Art

Some lots will be dedicated to contemporary Ukrainian painting. The funds raised will go to support orphans and widows of Ukraine’s defenders, making this auction particularly significant and noble.

The event is scheduled for May 8 and will be one of the key charity events in the capital this year.
