Yaroslav Melnyk appointed Ambassador of Ukraine to Luxembourg concurrently

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has made the decision to appoint Yaroslav Melnyk, who currently holds the position of Ambassador of Ukraine to Belgium, as Ambassador to Luxembourg concurrently.

Diplomatic Experience of Yaroslav Melnyk

The relevant decree from the head of state was published on April 27 on the official website of the president. Yaroslav Melnyk is an experienced Ukrainian diplomat who headed the Protocol of the President of Ukraine from 2010 to 2020. In 2020, he was appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to Italy, and from July 2025, Melnyk became the Ambassador of Ukraine to Belgium.

Expansion of Ukraine’s Diplomatic Presence

With this new appointment, Yaroslav Melnyk will represent Ukraine in two countries — Belgium and Luxembourg, which will contribute to the activation of bilateral relations and the expansion of cooperation on the international stage.
