Zelensky Appoints Oleksandr Kubrakov as Infrastructure Advisor

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has signed a decree appointing former Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov as his non-staff advisor. The relevant document, dated January 20, was published by the President’s Office.

New Status of Oleksandr Kubrakov

According to the decree, Oleksandr Kubrakov has been granted the authority of presidential advisor on infrastructure and community engagement on a voluntary basis. Now, Kubrakov will perform these duties on a non-staff basis, allowing him to leverage his experience in infrastructure projects and interaction with local communities.

President Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed former Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov as a non-staff advisor – this is stated in the decree dated January 20, published by the President’s Office.

Kubrakov’s Career in Government

Earlier in January, Oleksandr Kubrakov was also appointed as an advisor to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine on a voluntary basis. Prior to this, on May 9, 2024, the Verkhovna Rada made the decision to dismiss Kubrakov from the position of Minister for Community Development, Territories, and Infrastructure. Thus, Kubrakov continues to participate in strategic processes related to the country’s infrastructure policy, now in his new role as advisor.
