Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky received credentials from the newly appointed ambassadors of Portugal, the Republic of Korea, and Vietnam. This information was disseminated by the press service of the President’s Office.

Among the new ambassadors are Luís Manuel Ribeiro Cabasu from Portugal, Pak Ki-chang from South Korea, and Pham Hai from Vietnam. During the official meetings, Zelensky emphasized the opportunities for cooperation with these countries.
Cooperation within International Conferences
The President invited business representatives from Portugal, South Korea, and Vietnam to participate in the fourth international conference on Ukraine’s recovery, which is set to take place in Rome on July 10-11. This event aims to attract foreign investment for the restoration of the Ukrainian economy.
Trade and Economic Cooperation
In discussions with his Vietnamese counterpart, Zelensky addressed the revival of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation, as well as the issue of increasing Ukrainian wheat exports.
During a conversation with the Korean ambassador, the president expressed gratitude for the financial and humanitarian support, particularly for providing equipment for demining. The ambassador assured him of the Korean business community’s interest in collaborating with Ukraine.
“I thank the ambassador of Portugal for providing shelter to Ukrainians who were forced to leave the country due to the war.”
The final highlights of the meetings included discussions on achieving a just peace and increasing pressure on Russia, which were also addressed with the diplomats.
