What Draft Laws Have Been Submitted
Two documents have been published on the parliament’s website: No. 14366 on the approval of the president’s decree “On the Extension of the Duration of Martial Law in Ukraine” and No. 14367 on the approval of the president’s decree “On the Extension of the Duration of General Mobilization.”
Both draft laws have already been sent for consideration to the relevant committee of the Verkhovna Rada, which is to prepare them for further discussion in the session hall.
Context of the Extension of Martial Law
We remind you that on October 30, 2025, Volodymyr Zelensky signed laws on the extension of martial law and general mobilization to ensure the country’s defense capability in the face of ongoing threats from Russia. This decision was made in accordance with the current situation at the front and the necessity to support defense forces.
