Details of the Arrest and Charges
Employees of the Central Bureau of Investigation of the Polish Police arrested Volodymyr B. on November 20. The prosecutor’s office officially charged him on November 22 with actions in favor of Russian intelligence. According to the investigation, he provided logistical support to the direct executors of the sabotage, Oleksandr K. and Yevhen I., assisting them in the preparation and execution of attacks on railway line No. 7.
“Evidence suggests that in September 2025, Volodymyr B. transported Yevhen I. to the area of planned sabotage operations (railway line No. 7 near the settlements of Mika and Holomb), which allowed him to conduct reconnaissance of the area and choose a location for placing explosives, setting up a recording device, and installing a metal element on the tracks.”
After his arrest, Volodymyr B. was interrogated as a suspect. At the request of the prosecution, the court chose a preventive measure of detention for him. His position regarding the case has not been disclosed, and there is no official comment from the Embassy of Ukraine in Poland.
