The capital plans to establish an Astrobiology Center based on the Institute of Biology and Medicine at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. As part of this project, the opening of a training and research laboratory for astrobiology is envisioned, which will serve as a foundation for further research in the field of life in the Universe.

International Cooperation in Astrobiology
The discussion about the creation of such a scientific center took place during a meeting with renowned British researcher, Professor Charles Cockell from the University of Edinburgh and Director of the UK Astrobiology Centre. Professor Cockell’s visit to Kyiv University aimed to establish collaboration and detail the project for the creation of the Astrobiology Center.
