The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has made a decision to expand the list of medicines and medical products that are purchased with state funds and provided to patients free of charge. This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

New Items in the Free List
According to the updated list, the state will now centrally finance the procurement of new categories of medications and medical products. Among them are:
- medications for the treatment of autoimmune diseases of the nervous system and neuromuscular disorders;
- medical products designed to correct complex scoliotic deformities of the spine.
Improving Access to Treatment
The Prime Minister emphasized that this decision will allow thousands of Ukrainians to receive modern and quality treatment without additional financial burdens. The changes are aimed at increasing the availability of essential medical services and supporting patients with complex diagnoses.
“We are expanding the list of free medicines and medical products purchased by the state,” she stated on her social media.
The Ministry of Health also confirmed that the expanded list of medicines and medical products will be centrally procured with state funds and provided to patients free of charge.
It is worth noting that the government recently announced an increase in scholarships for students and the implementation of rewards for schoolchildren who achieve the best results on the National Multi-Subject Test.
