How the Uncovering and Investigation Took Place
According to the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in Kyiv, during monitoring of social networks, a post was discovered in which the boy invited his followers to choose a method of tormenting a kitten. The publication stated that a 14-year-old resident of the capital, having a personal Telegram channel, encouraged his followers to engage in violent acts against animals.

Thanks to the measures taken, the police identified the offender. He turned out to be a minor from Kyiv, who has already been invited to the police department to clarify the circumstances. As part of the initiated criminal proceeding under part 3 of Article 299 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (cruel treatment of animals), law enforcement is communicating with him and his parents to ascertain all the details of the case.
