Eight Candidates Compete for the Position of President of the Kyiv Aviation Institute

The Supervisory Board of the Kyiv Aviation Institute has completed the acceptance of applications for an open competition to select a new president of the institution. A total of eight candidates are participating in the competition. Six of them have agreed to the publication of their personal data.
Names of Candidates and Competition Details
Among the candidates who consented to disclose their information are Andriy Andrikievych (Chairman of the Industry Committee of the Kyiv Chamber of Commerce and Industry), Yuriy Korolyov (IT Entrepreneur), Oleksandr Korchenco (First Vice-Rector of the State University of Information and Communication Technologies), Volodymyr Ksyenych (Head of the Public Organization “Red Huber”), Ksenia Semenova (Acting President of the Kyiv Aviation Institute), and Serhiy Tovkach (Associate Professor of the Department of Automation and Energy Management at the same institute).
Two other candidates have exercised their right not to disclose personal data at this stage, in accordance with current Ukrainian procedures and international practices for conducting such competitions.
Rules for Conducting and Further Stages of the Competition
The competition is organized in accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers’ resolution “On the Implementation of an Experimental Project for the Development of Autonomy of Certain Higher Education Institutions.” According to the requirements, all candidates will undergo interviews, which will last until the end of August.
“After the interview stage is completed, the Supervisory Board will review the candidates and conduct a secret ballot. The president will be the one who receives the majority of votes.”
Thus, a new leader of the Kyiv Aviation Institute will be determined in the near future, who will head the institution for the upcoming term.
