Tomorrow, May 22, a vibrant musical event will take place in the capital of Ukraine, which will interest classical music enthusiasts. The concert of the National Ensemble of Soloists “Kyiv Camerata” will begin at 18:00 at the Ukrainian Radio Recording House as part of the “Masterpieces” project. Concert Program and Performance Highlights
The concert program will feature immortal hits from the world musical heritage that captivate the hearts of classical music fans. The highlight of the evening will be the performance by leading Ukrainian violinist Bohdana Pivnenko, who will perform the world-famous cycle “The Four Seasons” by Antonio Vivaldi for violin and orchestra.
The atmosphere of the evening will be enhanced by the participation of Honored Artist of Ukraine, opera singer Susanna Chakhoyan, who will travel from Vienna to perform several vibrant pieces. Her performance will include the aria of Lauretta from Giacomo Puccini’s opera “Gianni Schicchi”, the Waltz of Juliette from Charles Gounod’s “Romeo and Juliet”, and the aria Cantilena from Heitor Villa-Lobos’ “Bachianas Brasileiras”.
The concert program will also feature Ukrainian composer and bayan player, Honored Artist of Ukraine Volodymyr Zubitsky, who will perform “Rossiniana” for bayan and orchestra, inspired by popular themes of the Italian composer Gioachino Rossini. Additionally, there will be a musical fantasy “Ciao, Muchacho” for violin and orchestra based on the hit song “Bésame Mucho” performed by Bohdana Pivnenko. This will be a rich and emotional musical event that unites classical music fans and Ukrainian performers.
