Meteorologists have warned of a significant deterioration in weather conditions in Kyiv and the surrounding region on August 6.

What Weather Phenomena Are Forecasted in Kyiv and the Region
On Wednesday, August 6, a complex meteorological situation is expected in Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast. It is forecasted that rain will sweep through the region, with thunderstorms possible in some areas, and in certain districts, there may be gusts and even hail.
“In Kyiv and the region — cloudy with clear spells. At night — no precipitation; during the day — brief rain and thunderstorms. Wind — southwest shifting to northwest, 7-12 m/s, with hail and gusts of 15-20 m/s in some areas of the region,” meteorologists warned.
Air Temperature and Warnings for Residents
According to meteorologists, the nighttime temperature in the region will range from 14 to 19°, while during the day, thermometers will rise to 24-29°. In Kyiv itself, the nighttime temperature will remain around 19°, with daytime temperatures expected to reach up to 28° Celsius.
Experts warn that the weather conditions may negatively affect the operations of energy, construction, and utility companies, as well as complicate transportation. Drivers and workers in open spaces should be particularly cautious.
By morning, the air temperature in the capital had already reached 19° with a relative humidity of 83% and an atmospheric pressure of 748 mm of mercury.
