The capital is investigating a brutal double murder of a woman and her daughter

In the evening, the bodies of a 38-year-old woman and her 14-year-old daughter were found in an apartment in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv, showing signs of strangulation. According to preliminary information, both died from violent actions.
Police Consider the Involvement of the Cohabitant
Investigators do not rule out that the woman’s cohabitant—a 38-year-old foreigner—may have been involved in the murder. It is known that the man rented the same apartment, and after the alleged commission of the crime, he committed suicide by jumping out of a window on the 20th floor.
A criminal proceeding has been initiated by the investigative department of the Shevchenkivskyi district police under paragraph 1 of part 2 of Article 115 (intentional murder of two persons) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
