In the capital, law enforcement officers detained a driver who attempted to flee after violating traffic rules. The incident occurred in the Dnipro district, where patrol officers noticed a Mazda vehicle breaking traffic regulations.

According to the press service of the Kyiv patrol police, inspectors tried to stop the car, but the driver accelerated and attempted to escape. The patrol officers initiated a chase, which resulted in the apprehension of the violator.
During their interaction with the driver, the police noticed clear signs of drug intoxication. However, the man categorically refused to undergo a legally mandated examination.
The driver was removed from driving duties, and several reports were filed against him, including under part 1 of Article 130 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses (driving a vehicle while intoxicated), Article 122-2 (failure to comply with a driver’s stop request), and a ruling under part 2 of Article 122 (violation of traffic rules).
