Drone Attack on Kharkiv and Pryluky: Casualties, Injuries, and Destruction

On the night of June 5, Russia launched a massive kamikaze drone attack on Kharkiv and Pryluky, resulting in human casualties and severe damage to civilian infrastructure.

Tragic Consequences in Pryluky

In the city of Pryluky, Chernihiv region, five civilians were killed as a result of the enemy drone strike, including a child aged one year and four months. Six others sustained injuries of varying severity.

The explosions caused large-scale fires in residential areas. The fire completely destroyed two residential buildings, two garages, an outbuilding, and a passenger car.

Strike on Kharkiv: New Destruction and Casualties

In Kharkiv, the Slobidsky district was hit, where drones attacked residential buildings. According to preliminary data, 17 people were injured, including four children. Among the damages were multi-story residential buildings and personal vehicles of local residents.

As a result of the strikes and debris from the drones, three fire outbreaks occurred in the city: an apartment on the top floor of a 17-story building was on fire, another on the second floor, and a basement of a five-story building. The fire also engulfed three passenger cars.

Following the enemy attack, emergency service units are working promptly in both cities. Rescuers, pyrotechnic and canine units, as well as psychologists are providing assistance to the victims and addressing the aftermath of the attacks.
