Specialists are addressing the aftermath of the nighttime attack on the capital’s transport infrastructure.

During the night, an airstrike by enemy drones was recorded in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv, resulting in damage to elements of the transport power grid. The damage caused disruptions in the payment system for travel using cards and ticket validation on the rapid tram and funicular.

According to city authorities, debris from the downed UAVs fell in several locations, including on the roadway in the Shevchenkivskyi district. This incident led to damage to the trolleybus network. Preliminary reports indicate that there were no casualties among the population.

Payment Issues and Problems with the Kyivpastrans Website
The city hall emphasized that due to the nighttime shelling, there may be disruptions in payment for travel using cards, as well as in ticket validation on the rapid tram and funicular. As clarified by the Kyiv City State Administration, the attack caused damage to the connection channel to the telecommunications network servicing KP “Kyivpastrans.” As a result, the official website of the enterprise is temporarily unavailable.
Authorities recommend that passengers, in case of payment or validation issues at the turnstiles, validate their travel tickets directly in the trams.
The Kyiv City State Administration assured that specialists from the enterprise and the telecommunications network operator are actively working on the prompt restoration of all services related to payment and validation of travel.
