Official Monitoring Data
According to the Department of Environmental Protection and Climate Change Adaptation of the Kyiv City State Administration, as of 8:00 AM on June 10, the level of air pollution in Kyiv remained low, and the radiation background was within the norm.
On the right bank, at 64-H European Union Avenue, the overall air quality index was 25, indicating a very low level of pollution. The radiation background was recorded at 0.101 µSv/h.
Suspended particulate matter, undifferentiated by composition (TSP) – 17.3 µg/m3 (maximum allowable concentration – 500 µg/m3), including dust of 2.5 µm fraction (PM2.5) – 5.2 µg/m3, and dust of 10 µm fraction (PM10) – 11.4 µg/m3.
Indicators on the Left Bank
On the left bank of Kyiv, at the monitoring point located at 7/1 Kharkiv Highway, the overall air quality index was 16, which also corresponds to a very low level of pollution. The radiation background here was 0.111 µSv/h.
All pollutant indicators, including nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide, and ozone, remain significantly below maximum allowable concentrations. This indicates the absence of a critical impact from the night attack on the environmental situation in the city.
