Escalation on the Front: Over 160 Combat Clashes in a Day

Yesterday, there were about 160 combat clashes on the front, marking the most intense activity in recent times. The most tense situations were observed in the Pokrovsk, Kursk, and Novopavlivka directions, where Ukrainian defenders repelled numerous attacks from the occupiers.

Intelligence and Enemy Losses

According to the data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past day, Ukrainian military forces eliminated nearly 1,110 occupiers, as well as destroyed 8 tanks, 5 armored fighting vehicles, 70 artillery systems and multiple launch rocket systems, an air defense asset, 118 operational-tactical level UAVs, and 145 units of automotive, special equipment, and fuel tankers.

“The enemy launched 117 airstrikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, dropping 212 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they carried out 6,010 shellings, including 104 from multiple launch rocket systems, and deployed 3,363 kamikaze drones for strikes,” the General Staff reported.

Main Directions and Tactical Situation

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy conducted five attacks. In the Lyman direction, the occupiers attacked 19 times, attempting to advance towards ten populated areas. In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian forces halted five enemy offensive actions near Hryhorivka and Verkhnokamianske. In the Kramatorsk direction, eight clashes were recorded in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Markove, and Bila Hora.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy conducted 16 attacks, while in the Pokrovsk direction, defenders stopped 44 assault actions in the vicinity of 11 populated areas. In the Novopavlivka direction, 19 attacks by the occupiers were recorded, and in the Orikhiv direction, there were four attempts to break through the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In the Dnipro direction, the enemy made one futile attempt to advance. No combat actions were recorded in the Kharkiv and Huliaipole directions.

Regarding the Kursk direction, Ukrainian defenders halted 30 enemy assault actions, preventing a breakthrough of positions.
