The Explosion Occurred at the Final Stop
On the evening of December 26, an explosion occurred in one of the city buses in the Podil district of Kyiv. According to the capital’s police, the incident happened at the final stop of public transport when there were no passengers in the cabin.
“The vehicle was standing empty at the final stop. Shortly after the driver began to move, an explosion occurred,” the statement said.
Response from Emergency Services
Police officers, bomb disposal experts, and other emergency response services quickly arrived at the scene. Preliminary reports indicate that no one was injured as a result of the explosion.
