A fire broke out in an underground passage near the metro station in the Svyatoshyn district of Kyiv, where a trade kiosk caught fire. Law enforcement has begun investigating the causes of the emergency event.

According to information from the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kyiv, a report about the fire was received on March 30 at 21:32. Rescuers promptly responded to the call that came from Akademika Yefremova Street.
Thanks to the quick actions of the firefighters, the fire was localized to an area of 10 square meters, after which it was extinguished. There were no injuries as a result of the incident; however, law enforcement is working to determine the cause of the fire.
