Five new military administrations have been established in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The corresponding decree by President Volodymyr Zelensky was published on the official website of the head of state on December 17.

List of New Military Administrations
According to the document, the new military administrations are being created in the territory of the Synelnykove district. In particular, these are the Velykomykhailivska rural, Malomykhailivska rural, Mezivska settlement, Pokrovska settlement, and Slovianska rural military administrations.
Purpose of Creation and Security Situation in the Region
The decree states that the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, together with the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, must carry out the necessary actions in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On the Legal Regime of Martial Law” to initiate the operation of the new administrations.
“The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration shall carry out measures related to the establishment of the military administrations mentioned in Article 1 of this Decree in accordance with the Law of Ukraine ‘On the Legal Regime of Martial Law’.”
According to regional authorities, the Synelnykove district is regularly subjected to attacks from Russia, which has become one of the reasons for strengthening military-civil administration in this area.
It is worth noting that in July 2025, the Ternivska city military administration was already established in the Pavlohrad district of Dnipropetrovsk by presidential decision.
