On February 24, the anniversary of the beginning of the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, the capital is expecting visits from several delegations from other countries. This was announced by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Georgiy Tikhiy.

According to Tikhiy, high-ranking foreign guests will arrive in Kyiv. The visits will take place at both the level of state leaders and ministers. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has already received confirmations of intentions from representatives of several countries.
“There will definitely be high-ranking foreign guests in Kyiv. I can announce this right away because I know the intentions of a number of guests: both at the level of leaders and at the level of ministers. We are expecting them,” Tikhiy said at a briefing on February 4.
The Significance of the Date and Expected Delegations
Tikhiy emphasized that February 24 is a defining date for all of Europe, as it marks the beginning of a new phase in European history. The list of delegations intending to visit Ukraine has not yet been specified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It is known that among the invited are leaders of the European Union, including President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and President of the European Council António Costa, who had previously confirmed their plans to arrive in Kyiv to mark the fourth anniversary of the war.
