Circumstances of the Crime and Search for Suspects

The incident occurred on Sobornosti Avenue in Kyiv, where the offenders approached a man, showed him a grenade, and began demanding money. The frightened passerby called his wife, who immediately transferred the amount of five thousand hryvnias to the bank card of one of the attackers.

Operatives from the Dnipro District Police Department quickly responded to the report of the crime. They discovered surveillance cameras near the scene that helped identify the suspects and track their route. It turned out that both detainees are men aged 34 and 41, who already had criminal records for property offenses. One of the suspects is wanted internationally.
