The National Defense University of Ukraine has reported a new fraudulent scheme involving the misuse of the institution’s name.

Fraudsters Are Sending Fake Messages on Behalf of the University
According to the official statement, the perpetrators are widely disseminating false messages, referencing non-existent personnel and employees of the university. The main goal of these actions is to obtain personal data from citizens or gain access to their devices through malicious attachments.
The university urges individuals to carefully verify information sources and to use only official communication channels of the institution.
Recommendations for Protecting Personal Data
Citizens are advised not to open suspicious links, not to respond to dubious messages, and not to download files even from familiar contacts if there are doubts about their authenticity. In case of receiving a fake message, it is essential to immediately inform the relevant competent authorities.
