The Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine has appealed to the medical community for assistance in finding donor hearts for two teenagers whose condition has sharply deteriorated.

Critical Condition of Adolescent Patients
In the clinic led by renowned cardiac surgeon Boris Todurov, there are currently two children aged 18 and 16. They are on the waiting list for a heart transplant, but their condition is currently assessed as critical and requires immediate intervention.
Appeal to Medical Institutions and Coordination of Actions
The administration of the Heart Institute emphasized that the only chance to save these patients’ lives is timely transplantation. In this regard, a public appeal has been made to all transplant coordinators in hospitals, requesting them to urgently notify the Ukrainian Transplant Coordination Center about potential donors.
“Together we can save the lives of these children,” the Heart Institute emphasized.
Medical professionals are calling for a united effort to save the teenagers who urgently need donor organs.
