EU invests over 1.3 billion hryvnias in the reconstruction of the Heart Institute in Kyiv

The European Union will finance a large-scale reconstruction of the “Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine” in Kyiv. The medical facility will receive over 1.3 billion hryvnias for the renovation of the building and the creation of modern departments.

Modern Departments and Innovative Rehabilitation

According to information published on the state procurement electronic platform Prozorro, the allocated funds will be used not only for the reconstruction of the Heart Institute’s premises at Mykola Amosov Street, 8, but also for the establishment of innovative cardioneurorehabilitation and intensive care departments. This will allow patients to receive the most advanced care using the latest technologies.

Completion Timeline

The implementation of this large-scale project is expected to be completed by the end of December 2027. As a result, the capital will have a renovated specialized medical facility that will provide quality services in the fields of cardiology, neurorehabilitation, and intensive care.
