A conflict between a group of men in a shopping and entertainment center in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv ended in a stabbing and serious injury to a visitor.
Incident Circumstances in the Shopping Mall
Kyiv police quickly detained a man who stabbed another visitor with a knife inside one of the capital’s shopping and entertainment centers. The incident occurred around 12:00 PM when the police received a report about an injury to a local resident. According to preliminary information from the investigation, the conflict erupted between three men, during which one of the participants took out a knife and stabbed another in the leg.
As a result of the attack, a 28-year-old man sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized. Medical professionals assess his condition as critical.
Legal Qualification and Further Actions by the Police
Police officers detained the 27-year-old suspect immediately after the crime was committed. Investigators have opened a criminal case under part 2 of Article 15 and part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — attempted murder.

Currently, investigators are determining the motives and all circumstances of the crime. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing, and the suspect may face severe penalties under current Ukrainian legislation.
