Madagascar’s cat lemurs are once again residing in the summer residence of the Kyiv Zoo

The cat lemurs, known for their curiosity and playfulness, have returned to the summer enclosure at the Kyiv Zoo. Their green abode is located on an island in the middle of an artificial pond in the lower park, where visitors can observe the lives of these unique animals in the open air.
Features of the Lemurs’ Summer Residence
To ensure the comfort of the Madagascar primates during the summer, a spacious wooden house, a feeding platform, rope vines, special perches, drinking stations, and a decorative fountain have been set up on the island. There is also a mushroom-shaped shelter that protects the animals from the sun and rain, while the island is surrounded by dense trees and bushes, creating natural shade and coziness.
“For the comfort of the primates, there is a wooden house, a platform for delicious picnics, rope vines, perches and drinking stations, an artificial fountain, and a mushroom for sun and rain protection – all amidst sprawling trees and lush bushes,” the zoo representatives shared.
