Details of the Robotic System Acquisition
As a result of the open competition, the winner has been identified as LLC “Miamed,” which will provide the hospital with a modern robotic endoscopic surgical system worth 90 million hryvnias. According to the tender conditions, the equipment includes a surgeon’s console, a patient platform, and a visualization platform, all of which will operate with specialized software. The console and patient platform are equipped with backup power, ensuring uninterrupted operation during surgeries.
The system is designed for performing minimally invasive surgical interventions in the fields of urology, gynecology, general, thoracic, and pediatric surgery. The robotic system is operated by the surgeon, allowing for increased precision and safety of procedures.
Funding and Tender Participants
The procurement is financed from two sources: 40 million hryvnias is allocated from the institution’s own funds, and another 50 million comes from the local budget under the category “Multidisciplinary Inpatient Medical Care for the Population.” A one-year warranty is provided for the supplied system.
“Two competitors with lower prices were rejected. The capital-based ‘Miamed’ is owned by Ivan Kovach from Transcarpathia (not to be confused with his namesake, who is the mayor of Tyachiv), and managed by Lyudmila Musiyenko. Kovach is also the founder of Uzhhorod LLC ‘Stock Pulse’ along with Oleksandr Zhukov, Erik Prots, and Vitaliy Kravchak.”
Thus, Kyiv is strengthening its position in the implementation of modern medical technologies, which will contribute to improving the quality of medical services for the city’s residents.
