The youngest victim of this crime is only eight years old

In the capital, a 57-year-old man is suspected of raping two girls aged 8 and 12 years.
Circumstances of the Crime
Investigators have established that the Kyiv man invited the two minor girls to his apartment, after which he raped them in turn. According to law enforcement, the man exploited the trust of the children, which was influenced by their age.
“The man’s actions have been classified under Part 4 of Article 152 and Part 6 of Article 152 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, specifically as the rape of a person who has not reached the age of fourteen, regardless of their voluntary consent, as well as committing rape repeatedly,” the statement reads.
Penalties and Investigation
For the committed crime, the suspect faces imprisonment for up to fifteen years or life imprisonment. The court has already chosen a preventive measure for the man — detention without the right to bail. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
