According to the data, the capital’s municipal enterprise decided to engage an independent auditor for a comprehensive analysis of its financial condition. Significant budget funds were allocated for this audit, although the reasons for declining the services of the Department of Internal Financial Control and Audit of the Kyiv City State Administration remain unknown.

Financial Results of the Metro in Recent Years

The financial condition of the Kyiv Metro has shown significant losses in recent years. By the end of 2024, the enterprise incurred losses amounting to 2 billion 903 million 232 thousand hryvnias.
