The Municipal Security of Kyiv has announced a large-scale tender for nearly 24 million hryvnias to enhance the safety of educational institutions in the capital.

Expenditures on the Security of Schools and Kindergartens in Kyiv
From the city budget of Kyiv, 23 million 889 thousand 452 hryvnias are planned to be allocated for the implementation of the contract, which involves the installation of modern security alarm systems in schools and kindergartens throughout the city. Information about the tender is posted on the state procurement platform Prozorro.
According to the tender documentation, these funds are intended to equip schools and kindergartens with alarm systems.
Additional Purchases to Enhance Protection Levels
In addition to the main tender, on October 21, the municipal security announced several other tenders related to safety. In particular, this includes the purchase of surveillance and security devices for a total of 188 thousand hryvnias, a multifunctional device costing 14 thousand 600 hryvnias, as well as batteries for security systems amounting to 275 thousand 888 hryvnias.
The tender announcement took place on October 28, and it aims to increase the level of protection for students and staff in educational institutions in Kyiv.
