Ensuring Order During Easter Services
This year, services will be held in 170 Orthodox and other churches in Kyiv.
“The priority for law enforcement is to monitor compliance with public safety and order both near the churches and in places of mass gatherings,” said Shumeiko.
To maintain order near places of worship, police officers, cadets from the National Academy of Internal Affairs, representatives of volunteer formations, and public organizations will be involved. Additionally, employees of the National Guard and the State Emergency Service will be on duty at key locations.
Recommendations for Kyiv Residents
Law enforcement urges Kyiv residents to comply with current legislation, heed air raid alerts, and remember the curfew, which in the capital lasts from 00:00 to 05:00.
