Enhanced Security Measures Near Cemeteries
From April 27 to 30, memorial events will take place at 30 capital cemeteries. To maintain order and prevent possible offenses during these days, law enforcement will be on heightened duty near cemeteries, paying special attention to identifying suspicious individuals and items. The main goal of these measures is to guarantee the safety of citizens and avoid provocations or offenses, the police report.
To ensure public order and safety, forces from the Main and Territorial Police Departments of Kyiv, servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine, municipal guard officers, volunteer formations of territorial communities, canine units with service dogs, as well as bomb disposal personnel are being deployed to the sites.
