Kyiv Sets New Temperature Record for the Last Half Century

Climatologists have recorded a new temperature record in Kyiv. On April 11, the air temperature dropped to its lowest levels in over half a century.

According to the Central Geophysical Observatory named after Boris Sreznevsky,

“According to observations, on April 11, a record low minimum air temperature of minus 4.1°C was recorded in the capital”

. Scientists noted that this figure is 0.2°C lower than the previous record for this date, which was set in 1954.
