Kyiv Student Wins Two Gold Medals at International Mathematics Olympiad

The 19th Central European Mathematics Olympiad has concluded in the German city of Chemnitz.

The event brought together 66 gifted students from 11 Central European countries. Participants demonstrated a high level of preparation, solving complex problems both individually and in teams. The Olympiad served as a platform for exchanging experiences and developing mathematical talents among the youth.

Vladimir Prigunov — Absolute Winner

A student in the 11th grade at Scientific Lyceum No. 208 in the Dnipro District of the capital, Vladimir Prigunov achieved remarkable success at this competition. He won two gold medals: in the individual competition, he achieved the best result, scoring a maximum of 32 points out of 32 possible, and in the team competition, he helped his team secure first place with a score of 54 points.
