Liliya Pashinna Elected to a Key Position in the Congress of Local Authorities of Ukraine

At an extended meeting of the presidium of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President of Ukraine, elections were held for the new head of the Congress Office. Liliya Pashinna, a member of the Kyiv City Council from the “Servant of the People” faction, was elected to this responsible position. Over 330 participants took part in the video conference, discussing pressing issues of local self-government.

Important Role of the Congress

The Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, expressed confidence that Liliya Pashinna’s experience would enhance the work of the Congress. In social media, he noted:

“I am convinced that her experience will strengthen the work of the Congress. It is a space for direct communication between communities and central authorities. A place where decisions important to people are made. Our task is to make the Congress a true platform for addressing community issues.”

Biography of Liliya Pashinna

Liliya Pashinna has significant experience in public administration. She is a member of the Kyiv City Council, where she works on the permanent commission for budget, socio-economic development, and investment activities. In 2007, she graduated with honors from the Kyiv National University of Internal Affairs with a degree in law. From 2019 to 2020, she served as the head of the minister’s patronage service in the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine, and since February 2, 2020, she has been an advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
