The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine has presented fresh statistical data regarding marriage registrations in the country. Over the past week, the State Registration of Civil Status Acts authorities registered 1,870 new marriages.

Leaders in the Number of Marriages
Among Ukrainian regions, Kyiv demonstrated the highest number of marriages, with 522 registered. In second place was Dnipropetrovsk region with 152 marriages, while Odesa region rounded out the top three with 111 registered marriages.
“Kyiv continues to be not only a cultural but also a family center of Ukraine,” noted the Ministry of Justice.
