Capital Security During War

During wartime, special attention is focused on ensuring stability and public safety, as Kyiv plays a key role as the capital of Ukraine. According to the head of the KMVA, the main challenges remain terrorist threats from Russia, as well as attacks on the city’s civilian infrastructure. Additionally, criminal actions by certain individuals pose an extra danger, as do the risks associated with conscious or unconscious collaboration with the enemy.

“The focus on our internal security remains unchanged: Russian terror and attacks on the capital’s civilian infrastructure are the primary challenge. At the same time, there is criminal activity by our own citizens, as well as risks of conscious or unconscious work for the enemy. All of this is being studied, and we are working together,” wrote Timur Tkachенко.

Coordination of Law Enforcement Actions

Timur Tkachенко emphasized the importance of close interaction among all law enforcement and regulatory bodies to prevent violations and hold those responsible accountable. Regular meetings between the KMVA leadership and representatives of the security forces allow for more effective planning of joint actions and maintaining the city’s safety.

The head of the KMVA stressed that only through joint efforts and coordinated work can stability be ensured and the residents of Kyiv be protected from external and internal threats.
