Last week, capital rescuers saved 19 people during the response to emergencies in Kyiv.

Throughout the week, the State Emergency Service units in Kyiv made 152 trips to respond to various emergencies. Among them, the majority of calls were related to fire extinguishing — 70 cases. In addition, rescuers responded to accidents 10 times and provided assistance to the public and other city services 25 times. It is worth noting that 46 calls turned out to be false.
Statistics on Injured and Deceased
“19 people were rescued from fires. Unfortunately, 8 people died. 6 people were injured, including 4 children,” the rescuers reported.
According to the rescuers, among those injured in emergencies this week, there were six individuals, four of whom were children. In total, as a result of emergencies in the capital, 8 people died over the week.
Warnings for Kyiv Residents
The State Emergency Service emphasizes the importance of adhering to fire safety rules both at home and in the workplace. It is especially important not to ignore air raid signals to avoid additional risks to life and health.
In the event of any emergency, rescuers recommend immediately calling the emergency services at 101 or 112.
