Electricity costs for the former residence of Yanukovych will exceed 20 million hryvnias

In 2026, over 20 million hryvnias is allocated for electricity payments for the historical park-monument “Mezhyhirya,” which previously served as the residence of the fugitive president Viktor Yanukovych.

Results of the Electricity Supply Tender

The relevant information has been published on the electronic procurement website Prozorro. According to the tender documentation, over 2.2 million kilowatt-hours of electricity is planned to be used to ensure the operation of “Mezhyhirya” throughout 2026. A competition was held to determine the supplier, with eleven companies participating.

Chosen Supplier and Cost Savings

Following the open bidding, the winner was LLC “Mykolaiv Electricity Supply Company,” which offered the most favorable price of 20.2 million hryvnias. This will allow for savings of two million hryvnias from the initial amount allocated for the purchase of electricity.

For the electricity needs of the former residence of fugitive president Viktor Yanukovych, now a national significance park-monument of landscape gardening art “Mezhyhirya,” over 20 million hryvnias will be paid in the coming year.

The parties are currently preparing the contract for signing, after which LLC “Mykolaiv Electricity Supply Company” will officially begin supplying electricity to “Mezhyhirya” in 2026.
