In the capital of Ukraine, police detained a 31-year-old Kyiv resident who damaged an ATM on Veresneva Street during the night. According to law enforcement, the man decided to take revenge on the bank after discovering that there were no funds in his account. As a result of his actions, he damaged the machine with a concrete block and a stick, and the perpetrator fled the scene, but no money was stolen from the ATM.

A forensic investigation team and officers from the criminal police of the Darnytsia district were working at the scene. During the investigation, law enforcement identified the suspect and apprehended him. According to his statements, he wanted to check the status of his account. When he found that there was no money, he decided to take revenge on the financial institution, which resulted in the damage to the ATM.
Investigators from the Darnytsia police department informed the detainee of the suspicion of committing a crime. It is known that he has previously been repeatedly held criminally liable for theft.
