Casualties and Injured from the Attack

As a result of the massive strike across various districts of the capital, one person was killed and seven others were injured. Among the injured is a child who has polytrauma and multiple shrapnel wounds. Medical services responded promptly to calls, and rocket debris was recorded in several areas of the city.

Consequences of the Shelling in Kyiv Districts

The air raid alert began on July 20 at 22:58 and lasted until the morning of July 21. In the Darnytskyi district, fires broke out on the roof of a non-residential building, a fire occurred in a supermarket, damage was reported to a kindergarten building, a fire started on the first floor, and warehouse premises and a garage cooperative caught fire.

In the Shevchenkivskyi district, fires broke out on the roofs of two non-residential buildings, a fire was recorded in a residential building, and balcony fires were reported at another address.

Consequences of the Shelling in Kyiv

The Dniprovskyi district suffered from fires in kiosks and a warehouse. In the Solomianskyi district, the shelling led to partial destruction of an administrative building, and a fire broke out in a non-residential building covering an area of 300 sq.m.

The Sviatoshynskyi district experienced a fire in the area of a garage cooperative. In the Obolonskyi district, remnants of downed aerial targets fell.

Destruction in Kyiv After the Attack

As a result of the shelling, the “Lukianivska” metro station was damaged. Currently, the station is open for passenger exits, trains are temporarily stopping, but entry is still closed. The rest of the capital’s subway stations are operating as usual, and the train schedule is gradually being restored.
