The massive shelling of the Kyiv region on the night of December 6 caused serious consequences for the infrastructure and residents of the area.

Fastiv, Vyshhorod, and Bucha Districts Affected by the Attack
As a result of another massive attack from Russia, the Fastiv, Vyshhorod, and Bucha districts of Kyiv region were hit. In Fastiv, a large fire broke out at the railway station and in the motor-carriage depot due to the shelling.
Damage to Civil Infrastructure and Casualties
According to preliminary data from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, three residents of the region were injured in the attack. Fires and destruction were recorded not only in Fastiv but also in the village of Novi Petrivtsi, where debris from a downed drone caused a fire in a warehouse building covering an area of 5,500 square meters. Additionally, in the same locality, three trucks were burned, one residential building was destroyed, and six more homes were damaged.
“In the city of Fastiv, fires and destruction occurred at the railway station and motor-carriage depot. In the village of Novi Petrivtsi, a fire broke out in a warehouse building of 5,500 square meters due to debris from a UAV. Also, in this locality, three trucks caught fire, one residential building was destroyed, and six more houses were damaged. In the village of Nezhylovychi in the Bucha district, a fire and destruction of a private building occurred,” emergency services reported.
A fire and destruction of a private house were also recorded in the village of Nezhylovychi in the Bucha district. Efforts to eliminate the consequences of the shelling and assist the victims are ongoing at the incident sites.
