Practical life-saving sessions were held in the center of Kyiv

A large-scale educational event focused on providing resuscitation assistance to people experiencing a heart attack took place in Taras Shevchenko Park. The event, titled “CPR Community Gathering,” brought together experienced instructors from the “Center for Tactical Medicine” and local cadets, who organized a series of masterclasses for residents and visitors of the capital.
Interactive Learning and Practical Skills
Participants had the opportunity to practice cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques on both traditional mannequins and modern electronic simulators. In addition to CPR training, attendees could measure blood pressure and pulse, as well as receive detailed advice on what to do if someone nearby requires emergency medical assistance.
The Importance of Knowing How to Help
The event organizers emphasized that such skills can be crucial in critical situations where every second counts. The ability to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation correctly and promptly significantly increases the chances of saving a victim’s life.
“CPR training is a chance to give yourself and others the opportunity to survive in stressful conditions and to prevent a repeat of the incident that occurred on September 28 in Kyiv, when a 52-year-old woman lost her life in a shelter due to sudden cardiac arrest, while unfortunately, no one nearby knew how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation,” the organizers explained the necessity of the event.
