The National Security and Defense Council has decided to introduce a moratorium on business inspections by government authorities. This was announced by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, on the evening of July 21.
Real Moratorium and Support for Entrepreneurship
“The decision of the NSDC has established a real moratorium on business inspections by government authorities and, in general, on any interference by state structures in entrepreneurial activities. The moratorium provides the necessary foundation for the full implementation of essential decisions for economic security and the analysis of relevant practices,” the head of state noted.
The President emphasized that all initiatives aimed at supporting Ukrainian businesses, as well as developing cooperation with international partners, must be implemented promptly and necessarily. In his opinion, this approach will protect entrepreneurs and ensure the stability of the national economy under martial law conditions.
Government Plans for Business Freedom
Earlier, Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced the preparation of an annual moratorium on business inspections. According to her, the government intends to provide entrepreneurs with more freedom for development. The authorities hope that such steps will contribute to the recovery of the economy and attract investments to the country.
